  • Control some of the greatest ever PlayStation characters in an explosive brawler.
  • Battle as classic video game icons including Sly Cooper, Kratos, PaRappa the Rapper and more.
  • Take on up to three of your friends offline and via PlayStation Network across a variety of competitive and co-operative modes as you fight on constantly evolving battle arenas.

How come there's a Big Daddy in the game ?? I thought it was PS exclusive characters only, or am I being "logical" again Pretoria ??

Re: Product Info - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Question: are you able to play by yourself? I know it will be a game focused mainly on multiplayer, but surely there has to be some sort of single player feature.

Re: Product Info - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

The game will feature a number of single player and multiple player ( online and offline) game modes.

With the details we currently have, the single player will be story based ( story mode) with a progression system.

Oh cool, a story mode! I wasn't expecting that! I wonder how they would do it though.

Re: Product Info - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Story mode could be very interesting if it was based around each character you choose to play as......for example if you play as Kratos the backgrounds are from locations in the GOW series, and the story is based around the series also......

Re: Product Info - PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Hey there.

Anyone actually had any luck with the Beta on PS3 yet? I've tried queueing 5 times today - once was 2v2 Tournament (with my housemate) and after 20 minutes of waiting we gave up and cancelled.

The other 4 attempts were FFA queues (solo) and each time it Found Opponents, my console would "crash" during Connecting. At first I just assumed it was a latency issue (from Australia) so I waited 30 minutes. But it's quite obvious that the console is completely unresponsive when this happens - the screen freezes but the music continues to play. I have to manually power down the console when this happens.

Not complaining - it is a beta test after all - but just curious if I'm the only one experiencing this problem.
