what the hell,i phoned 08447360595.....the new customer support number for the uk....the first time after listening to countless messages i got thru to a human and was put on hold for an eternity so long that i put the phone down .....i rang again and went thru the spiel and spoke to another human being that apologised about me being put on hold for so long and said that they would put me thru to the right extension and promptly put me on hold again ...i waited and waited and in the end i put the phone down after waiting an eternity ......what a shabby service ...im not best pleased...all i want to know is how i get my ps3 account up n running again ....i got sent an e-mail to change my password but by the time i managed to get to a pc it was more than 3 hours old and the e-mail was no longer valid ......can anyone help me as Sony dont seem to care about my plight and are more interested in making money out of me ringing their useless customer support number..
Atleast you got through to someone! i have been trying all morning, go through the various options and when i get to the one i want i am met with an engaged tone! not even given an option to hold. unbelievable!
I am also getting this after trying to get through for the last 2 days.
Has the uk number changed? I get to select a few options but when i should get put thru to someone i get disconnected...
The customer service for uk is diabolical to say the least i have phoned countless times for help and at one point was on hold for 40 mins! to add insult to injury these numbers are premium rate numbers! i have spent nearly £60 in pointless unanswered phone calls to these numbers and have no help to show for it. absolutey discusting customers service.
if any one at playstation actually reads these blogs sort it out!:Argh:
i recently downloaded the update for gran turismo 5 and now when i start the game it says that i need 32 mb free space on my ps3, i have 40 gb free on my hard disk drive, i rang customer service ireland and they told me to simply delete more material, so i did that, now i have half of my whole memory space free (60 gb) and the message continues to come up, this is very upsetting as i have followed the precise instructions of the customer service and it has not helped at all. i would very much appreciate if someone could tell me how to properly deal with this problem.
