I have 2 external hard drives and the one that is full now works, but my new work doesn't even register on my PS3. Is there a way to get it to register on the PS3. The hard drive is:
Bought in Thailand
It works just fine on my laptop.

I did some research online, if I downloaded some software that converts NTFS to FAT32, it should do the job. I know FAT32 isnt designed for hard drives larger then 8GB but I think there's a way around it.
* Usually there is software that allows you to format the whole external HDD into FAT32 regardless of size. If you attempt to format the NTFS drive through Windows you may find it only does this in a 32GB partition.
e.g. if you did this on a 500GB HDD, it would only partition 32GB of this which is all you would be allowed to use on the PS3 (wasting the additional memory).
If there are any specific queries on this let me know- RabidWalker
Download this program. It formatted a 1TB external hard drive for me, no problem at all
Thanks babe. I looked on the website, there's all kinds of links on there, what I am clicking on?
Babe?!?!? First time I've been called that (checks below) Yep meat and two veg still there.
The above text is what you need to look for and the fat32format word is the link
Now you have a drive letter, this is what we will pass to the formatter
Now download a copy of fat32format. Extract the single EXE file to somewhere suitable, like C:\.
