Iav beaten amazing spider man in in just acouple days and all thats left is free roaming.. no side missions just only replay for story missions. Does anybody else feel like you were robbed of 59$ ? I hope it has some good DLC....
I guess it depends on how many hours over those couple of days you spent playing the game.
If it was 4-6 then maybe, 8 hours plus isnt too bad though.

Yeah yeah, and I agree that after you play games like Skyrim, Dragon Age etc where the hours are endless, and you sit down and finish a game in 8 hours it can be a pain... hence why I don't buy these games on release, not worth the £40!

Fair enough you want the game as soon as its released but if your patient and wait even just a month, you can pickup a new game fairly cheap. shopping online is your best bet for deals.
6-8 hours to finish any title is woefull in my opinion,i dont wanna be spending 40 quid on a saturday afternoon and then be planning my next 40 quid purchase a mere 6 to 8 hours later, you would have to be absolutely minted to carry on with spending like that:manindifferent:3 or 4 new titles every week, must have a very rich mummy and daddy or have a really good well paid job with hardly any hours spent working cos you wouldn,t have time to play all those games.:ScaredPumpkin:
Exactly.. I want a gme that has replay value.. I got this game cause i thought there would at least be unlimited pop up crimes around the city like in previous games.. so thats why im dissapointed.. however im still playing it trying to get my moneys worth.
I thought the hours where okay. It took me less than 16 to complete 100% of everything except for the audio logs, tech pieces, and manuels which i thought was alittle retarded because we've come allong way in the gaming industry and I'm still collecting rings like fricken sonic. The only major dissapointment was that there was no more races, random crimes or bad guys to beat up in the freeroaming... it's just a empty city
These sort of games are usually 'cash cows' anyway, especially if its a film tie in. Content is usually at a minimum/average unlike big budget AAA titles.
But under 16 hours is good for any game. I'm about 6 hours into Dead Space 2 and already wishing on the end.. One reason why I dont like long games, if its not what you had hoped/expected/just dont like it then it becomes a repetitive, ball breaking slog to the end zzzzz...
I agree with Ytevo completely, I can bare some games, but others you play and you're sat there thinking okay seriously, ending please,:o how is Dead Space 2 so far Ytevo ? Interested in a purchase :P ...
On a side note, how does Spider man run on PS3 ? Smooth, rough ? Any info :D
DS2's single player could of been better but the multiplayer is the best part. As for Amazing Spider-Man it ran smoothly I had no frame rate isues or glitches. I give it a 7/10 but If you want your moneys worth I'd get Prototype 2 or Arkham city instead.
Whats going on with people's opinions of Dead Space 2, its really hard to scare gamers these days with all the games we have, theres only a certain amount you can do to scare someone in a video game, they used jump scares which i think are really cheap
but the lighting and sound are awesome and i still found it creepy rather than actually scary, its definitely less creepy than Dead Space 1 but some of that is due to the fact when DS1 came out we didnt know what to expect but then DS2 came out and we kind of had an idea of what to expect which didnt help the game, its definitely a great game though, it was just always going to be really tough to better the first one
