i know playstation move is out but i dont really have the space for it,
i thought gt5 would support sixaxis but i have thought wrong
the only games i have played with sixaxis is the old f1 game and heavy rain
you would have thought game developers would have tried to come up with somthing to show off their skills as much as making the game more enjoyable for some
i'm not complaining,
just curious to why some game developers havent even attempted using it
I don't know what sixaxis support we can expect in the future, probably very little.
However, if you've only played two games why not go back and try some older games that have support. Heavenly Sword, Flower, Flow, Warhawk and WipeoutHD all utilise sixaxis with varying degrees of success.
Never seen the attraction with Sixaxis, got PS Move with my PS3 aswell, don't see the point of it.
If I wanted to play bowling/tennis/table tennis/frisby I would go out and do it, gaming is for sitting on the sofa 'til 2am. I understand some people may like it but it's one of them things I've played once and probably won't play again.
I was however impressed with the Move accuracy and HD graphics (compared to the Wii).
never found it enjoyable. It was a bit of a novelty at first, i didnt even know about it until i bought a ps3, 'oh thats cool'
But i just grumble when a game requires me to use it now.
I wish they'd employ it in more driving games, I liked using it in Motorstorm, even though it made it that little bit harder.
You can actually use the six-axis in Gran Turismo 5......but only in the photo mode to change from landscape to portrait when your in the picture options :P
Let's hope it stays forgotten! Developers never really seemed to know what to do with it, and just shoehorned cruddy sixaxis bits into their games. The only games I've played that I thought made good use of it were Heavenly Sword and flower.
I hate any game that makes me have to shake the controller. Ragdoll Kung Fu was my idea of hell!
guristas bunny ! ! ! ! ! ! !! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
But to put the thread back on track, I think devs should add functions that detect if the controller's been hurled across the room in frustration, and auto quit, or pause, or just generally ridicule the player. :)
you are forgetting the best games to use sixaxis, Flower and flOw! Great use of it in my opinion. If you haven't bought it already go and but it, you'll love it
Can't remember that last time I use sixaxis probably back in 2008 with Uncharted Dreaks Fortune. I don't think Uncharted 2 or 3 supported it.

-Off the thread subject, but relevant to the last three posts-
Im just asking out of interest, and not be argumentative.
Why is it wrong to dig up an old thread? I thought it would be better to add to an old one, then start afresh.
Eg If someone uses the search function and found X amount of different threads on the same subject spread out all over the place..?
Im just intrigued to know the correct etiquette round here. So as not to make these sort of mistakes myself..
To be honest i don't see anything wrong bumping a thread like this.
It's really old technical problem threads that shouldn't really be bumped a lot of them are invalid because firmware has changed a lot.
People are more likely to get a better response to a new thread for technical issues than one from back in the day via the search function that doesn't resolve a problem.
never been a fan of it an happy is not being used much as some of the games their was no option to turn it off.
Below is a Signature
Most six axis features were shoe horned in and felt cheap and nasty. Im glad they stopped using them to be honest.
