.....so not really sure if its a problem with PSN or Orange!
I can promise you this, PSN will say it's Orange, Orange will say it's PSN.
Anyway, I've contacted Orange via email about it, not too hopeful that the techs will be able to help as I don't think their instruction manuals cover this eventuality.
I'm pretty sure last time this happen (different ISP) it was something that changed at Sonys end, perhaps a security certificate or something. Either way I'm still getting more pi$$ed that my PS+ sub is going to waste.
Frustration levels are rising, especially since I've never experienced a single issue with my ISP or the PSN.
Edit - I wonder if the MODS could change the thread title to be more specific to Orange users?
It was Sky last time, wasn't it?
If there's no clear answer by Wed, I'll bring it up on the Store Update blog post, maybe see whether James Thorpe knows anything about it.

im with Orange and I suffered this issue too...
i think its a DNS error thats conflicting between Orange and PSN.
HERES A QUICK FIX!!!!!!!
Go to network settings in XMB and go to manual network setup. Let the ps3 configure your settings UNTIL it asks for DNS.
Manually add the following DNS numbers..
Primary : 22.214.171.124
Second : 126.96.36.199
this is openDNS server so its perfectly fine to use and its hosted from the UK. Use this until Orange/Sony sort this out..
All your PSN store issues will be gone and you will be downloading again as normal!

still no updates from either from Sony or Orange ? jeez, whats it take to get a post around here ?!
Well, you won't get an admission of fault from Sony, the moment they do they open themselves up for claims for lost services, for example PS+ subscription time etc.....
Considering we represent a small amount of Orange users who know of a fix, imagine the true number sat at home not knowing how to fix the issue, multiply that by the time it takes Sony to fix the problem, lets say a month and you have thousands of claimants asking for money back.
We will not hear anything official, one day it will just work again.
