Hello, I am having trouble with connecting my Ps3 to my wireless modem. We recently changed our wireless modem and I have attempted several time to connect it with my ps3 and failed. However, when I removed the WPA from my wireless modem I was able to connect with the modem. The problem is that I cannot establish a connection when I add a WPA to the modem.
Our previous modem was able to connect with the ps3 with a WPA. So I am unaware to what is causing the problem.
I have tried to browse through your help & support FAQs and was unable to find anything that is related to this problem.
as soon as I enter in the WPA key in the network settings this message pops up.
A connection to the access poin could no be established.
Check the secruity settings for the wireless LAN (8013013E)

Try restoring the default settings to the router, then entering the router setup via 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 etc. Enable WPA-PSK and enter a random key then apply the changes, the router should reboot, try entering the new info in the ps3 then.

Er.. what what default setting? >.<
Do you mean resetting the ADSL setting?
Oh and I have tried creating random keys, and it still came up with the same message.

Humm, it should work if they key is correct? Are you entering the security key on the ps3 with the joypad? If so are you pressing 'start' to enter it? If that's the case, it normally adds an extra space, that might be why.
