So I went through the setup process and double checked my Internet password, and when I test the connection, when it tries to obtain the ip address, it fails. It succeeded once out of the 500 times that I tried, but then it failed at the other one "Internet connection"

lol i don't know what the router's dmz is... but my laptop and stuff work with the wireless... soooooo.... doesn't that mean that the wireless is working?

yeah your wireless is working. it was a few years ago that i had the same problem so i'm a little hazy over the exact details. there's a thread here that helps you put the ps3 in the dmz i'll find it for you
