after recently missing the latest news about new content/dlc,i discovered that i had not seen that there was a free map pack released for mw3, i just found it by chance while looking around on the store..
so it got me thinking,wouldnt some type of notification system on the store would very handy,there could be a notify me box under the particular games tab that after activating could send you a psn message linking to the dlc or an onscreen notice upon logging into the network..
the store must already have some kind of friends/message list system integrated as you can already send links from the store to people on your friends list,it just has do be done manually at the moment.
would anyone else like to see a notification/alert system on the ps store?

Nope. Activison just need to do things the same way every body else Does and Actualy advertise there content.
You can't miss the addons in other games, AS they have this great big scrolling bar with ........
Addon pack out now........ speeding across the screen....
And Big Adverts on PSN store covering the Hole back ground. Activision take users for granted. other publishers continue to do there jobs to promote there content...

while i agree more adverts on the store would have helped,but the flip side is not all devs/publishers have loads of money to throw around on expensive advertising,also theres only so much room on the storefront and if one or more publishers that does have the money to throw around buys up alot of the storefront ads where does that leave the rest of the smaller devs/publishers?
as for the psblog,not everybody has the time/or even know about the psblog to religiously keep up-o-date with the all the latest games/dlc,thats why i think a notification system would be a good idea,if you like a particular game/genre you could simply activate the notification system and that way your always up-to-date with any new games/dlc..also it would help the smaller devs/publishers keep their customers infomed on new games/dlc possibly increasing revenue for them and sony... it seems like a win win situation to me..
