It shouldnt effect UMD versions as from what Ive heard it seems to crash at the point the game would ask you if you want to install the game on a memory stick for people playing with UMD versions of the game, its not firmware related its the file itself so UBI need to put a new one up, Hopefully they are aware of this and fix it asap. Thanks for everyone thast added new information to this thread.

Another unhappy customer here. Does the same crash thing on my go and PSP1000.
I tried installing the game to both the system memory or card memory and it does the same damnned thing.
Hopefully they will fix this issue soon because I want to finish bloodlines before starting AC2 on the PS3.

I contacted Sony yesterday and they have escalated the enquiry! I explained about the problem as I too downloaded it for my go and I tried it on my 3000 and 1000 with the same results. Click 'X' on game icon game starts shortly after playstation logo has gone, then loading icon appears game crashes and switches console off. I explained all this to Sony uk and they even looked at our thread on the forum. Hopefully a fix will come soon. Otherwise I'll expect a refund.

Ps. I was given the number for Ubisoft by Sony I will ring them today however it is expensive to call so I will be expecting some major grovelling from them!!

Same here, PSP go fw 6.20. Thanks for all the info. It saved me a lot of time I would otherwise wasted on re-downloading.
It is unbelievable to say the least. We are not dealing with some random bugs here that could be hard to discover. This is a major, clear and totaly repeatable problem, meaning they did not even bother to try the online content before making it public.
I have already contacted the PSN UK support this morning, describing the problem together with a link to this forum. They promised an answer in the next 24 hours. Just an answer, not a fix, so don't expect miracles to happen any time soon. The fix may be further delayed should they decide to actualy test it this time.
