Re: Assassins Creed Bloodline not working on psp go

Thanks mate, been speaking with some people who own the game on UMD they think it sounds like it freezes where on the UMD version it asks if you want to install the game onto a memory stick, so maybe they posted the wrong file online, who knows, interested to see if it works on a 6.10 though Wildwilly69 though!

Video of the crash:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5P3AfnxiWM

I downloaded Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines from the PSN store for my PSP Go.

When the game launches, you see the "loading" symbol turning around and instantly the system freezes and turns off... this happens EVERY TIME!!!

Just to be sure I deleted the game and downloaded it again and the same thing happened, so I tried downloading it to a PSP 3000 and the same crashed ocurred...

What is going on? I paid 30 euros for a game I cannot even start!!! I have about 15 downloaded games and have never had a problem!

Re: Assassins Creed Bloodline not working on psp go

Mine crashes too.

The good thing is that if what people say is true, its not because of the firmware update. If it was, we could be potentialy waiting weeks for them to fix the firmware and release a new one.

If it is just the game that is corrupt on the PSN servers, hopefully this will be a fairly quick fix.

However, what if the game has an actual bug in it. if it does, lets hope that a fixed version does not need to go through a new Q&A process cos we may be waiting a while.

I personly am hoping that a fix will be made today allowing us all to re-download it.

Re: Assassins Creed Bloodline not working on psp go

Ok I think it is safe to say it is everyone with the download version.  What we need to know is if this effects anyone with the UMD version.

I think this sort of thing really needs some QA department to be held responsible.  I would have thought that Sony QA would have tested it first to make sure it worked!

Re: Assassins Creed Bloodline not working on psp go

Not adding much to this discussion other than to say it does not work on my old PSP-1000 with FW 6.20 either.
The only good thing is that if this affects all download versions, it's not something that can be ignored easily.
Hopefully some kind of fix will be incoming soon.

[ Edited ]

So, do they not test the downloads and installations on all the PSP consoles then?

Quite shoddy if you ask me.

Glad I got paid today and not yesterday otherwise I'd have a £23 worth of useless data on my PSPGo too.
