The whole game itself isn't much harder. The only thing I found remotely challenging was Chaos but even he's a pushover once you know his attacks as they're so easy to dodge.

D'oh, so if they blew it, I don't buy it. It's a shame actualy. I wanted another modern FF game on my PSP.

The Duel Colusseum is alright though, there's at least some challenge there as you can fight AI opponents up to level 150 (you can't get above 100, yourself).

Although some of them are still, quite frankly, pathetic.

Example

This was a level 120 with a difficulty of "High (Actions)".

It's still a fun game though, worth a look if you're a Final Fantasy fan. Just wish it was a bit tougher, is all.

hmm.... yeh the game is mostly easy.....but there is a lot more to the game than just the story, arcade and Colosseum modes.

Try playing with another actual human being!

not only that but the game has depth....a lot of depth.... have you battlegen'd every item? Have you bought every item in the shop. How about unlocking all of the PP catalogue? Have you gotten all your characters to level 100 and completed all of their ability lists? Have you completed each characters stories to 100%? 

All of a sudden the game isn't a walk in the park huh! Call it level grinding if you want but for the most part it's fun level grinding....there are enough challenges and little surprises to keep it interesting....at least I think so anyway

Well, quite possibly so, but I play for a challenge. Good story is only half of a success I'm affraid, but this game is too expensive for "half-a-game".

I think there is still challenge to be found in the game, The inward chaos storyline is pretty tough going...even with a fully levelled up character.

i really enjoyed playing dissidia because of the huge range of characters and activities. yes its easy but it a huge game and i think its a great game

Make sure you buy the Blackjack Course for the Duel Colusseum from the PP Catalogue when you beat it. You'll get the toughest fights there and some pretty neat items.
