As per the title. I have been looking at "Lemmings" and some of the games say "Platinum" on the front cover and others don't.
Is there any difference?
Thanks in advance.

I think they're just cheaper. If you bought a boxed version of a platinum, they are obviously not as collectible even though they are the same game IIRC.

There isn't any difference as the platinum edition label is only given to games whose sales go above a certain amount.

I remember the PS2 Platinum Gamesaves where different from regular game files and were incompatible with each other.

There's no difference between the two, the best-selling* games on each PlayStation platform are re-released as 'Platinum' versions at a reduced price. ![]()
*The last time i checked, in Europe a game has to sell at least 400,000 copies within a year to become a platinum game.
