Not sure if I should post this here or in the Killzone boards, feel free to move it around mods.

Anyway, I keep trying to download the patch that includes Chapter 5, it saves and says it is installed but I cannot find it anywhere, I've searched every menu in the game. And when I click the update file in the "game" folder it does not work there.

Anything I'm missing that is actually obvious?

Btw - I am using the downloadable version of Killzone Liberation if that makes any difference.

How many patches have you donwloaded?  I went to download and downloaded a patch thinking it included chapter 5 and infrastructure online mode, but found it only had infrastucture on it.  Then I went to downloads again and downloaded a second patch for chapter 5.  So there is actually two patches you need to download.  The first is for infrastructure mode, the second is for chapter 5. 

You dont have to have played through the first 4 chapters either for it to be there.  I have only played the first chapter, but I definately now have 5 chapters on the map screen where you select the chapters.

Yeah you're right, it has been a long time since I downloaded the patch, but now that you mention it, I remember the two patches.

Yeah I've played all the chapters and missions so far, twas fun escaping an exploding air-base

As for the patch, I can only find one option on the download menu, and I cannot use the "Login" part at the top of the screen. Is it a matter of simply trying again and again until I get it? There's no other file to download and it seems to happen fairly quickly and almost defintly not 66 MB.

I have uploaded the copy from my memory stick, just unzip the folder into X:\PSP\GAME

Then run it from the XMB to install. That should be it

I was a late adopter of Killzone as well (just gotten PSP last Dec) but I think it's still one of the best PSP games so far

heyy i have just been reading ur convo if u dont mind lol ..

but is that the patch u need to download to get on the game online ..??

bcoz i have already downloaded one from the game menu and when i try login it always says network error ...

but reading ur convo it myt be because i need to download the other file as yhu mentioned there is 2 yhu have to download ..

sow i already downloaded 1 of the game menu and is this the other one ...?????

Yes there are two patches: One for online multiplayer, one for chapter 5. The one in the game menu is for Chapter 5, you'll need to find the other patch (try google).

However to play online you'll need a 'gaming handle', which you can get at www.yourgamingname.com.You will need a NAC (Network Access Code) to register at the site.

NAC comes in the box with PSP100x, but if you have the newer PSP you will need to call Sony Customer Service, tell them you need an NAC and tell them your PSP serial number, and they will give you your NAC.

With the NAC, register at www.yourgamingname.com to get your gaming handle.

With the gaming handle, only then you can play online on Killzone.

But I sincerely doubt there is still anyone playing Killzone online now (because it's 2 years old already).

I have a problem as well... I wanted to download online and chapter 5 gameplay but when i do it comes up saying "switch converse memory on" i did that and it still doesn't work please help...
