Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 - crashing my PSP

Does anyone else's PSP keep crashing when they're playing Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 online? It's been happening more and more lately ever since I installed those free packs that you can get from the PSN store and it's getting beyond annoying now. I've noticed sometimes only the game will freeze up and the PSP will still function (since I can press the volume/sound/screen/home buttons) but other times the whole thing would freeze and would just switch itself off mid-game.

Is it happening to anyone else? Anyone know how it could get sorted out?
