Wipeout Pulse; possible bug

Hi. Has anyone come across this oddity? I am trying to complete Grid 11- "Terminator Outpost 7 White" (top right hand corner)but even though I  have finished top of the table with the least amount of damage, I am denied a medal, therefore can not unlock the final section - "Single Race - Vertica Black".  Any advice would be appreciated.

I've completed the whole game without experiencing bugs like this one.

Maybe your copy has problems. If you've downloaded it from Playstation Store, try re-downloading it. If it is a UMD, then... How should I know...
