little big planet problem

i have a broplem with psp version of little big planet, when im creating my own level and i try to make bombs then when i take the trigger and try to connect the bomb and the trigger when there should come wires when you hold the x button but there dosent come any wires wich means i cant connect the trigger to bomb, please help me i love this game :Confused: ps:sorry if i have bad english im finnish
