3 Months report of PSP GO

Love it.   Had a PSP2000 and a PSP1000 before, the PSP GO is the best yet.   I use it 10x more than I ever used my previous PSP models, simply because it's always in my coat pocket and always has all my games on it.  It's smaller, quicker to start up (I love the suspend to disc feature for games).

My only wish would be that the Bluetooth support is enhanced to support GPS Serial Bluetooth devices, and then I could buy the GPS maps from the PSP store....

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

Completely agree! I use my PSPGo loads more than my 1000 model that I had.

Now if only the muppets at Sony and Konami could bash out a deal to get PES 2010 on the store and we'd all be happy!

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

i love my psp go bought it lastweek still waiting for the codes to come through but i bought monster hunter freedom unite for it loaded my freedom 2 save and completed all the single player missions already would be nice if i get my codes soon so i can continue loving my psp :smileyvery-happy:

i love how it's comftable to hold i thought it would be harder to play with the analoge stick where it is but i found it easier to use then the original and i love it being pure digital i always hated taking umds with me when i went out places, so a digital only was my perfect choice :smileyhappy:

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

Got mine this week and love it, I have started moving my movie collection and music collection over to my PS3 so I can turn my PSP into my full on-the-"Go!" media device and replace my first edition iPod Touch, now all I need is a really large HDD for my PS3 so I can fit it all on lol!

So far I have only been playing FF-7 and MGS because I already had these downloaded to my PS3 (not sure how long it will take to get the game code from Sony), But things have been awesome, the controls just feel right and I find it a much easier piece of kit to use and transport then back when I had a PSP-1000 many years ago. People are amazed when I pair it to my phone and connect to the PSN anywhere, "Its like Magic!" were one friends words lol. This is a serious piece of kit and wins hands down over any other handheld console I have ever owned. I'm thinking of giving it a full user review after my first month so I can give it some real testing,

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

Totally agree, play my Go much more frequently than my 1000 which i had for 5 years, and its almost always on me. The only thing that would make it better if it is was hacked so I could play home brew games & emulators!

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

Not sure if I *could* play on my GO more than I did on my 3000, but I am giving it a ***** good shot :smileywink: The size and the suspend features seem so minor until you get one, and then realise how much of a difference it really makes.

Shame there is so much negativity from existing owners of older models over this unit because it really is nice.

Yes I have a GO. Yes, it rocks.

Re: 3 Months report of PSP GO

I think once you try one its hard to go back to a larger model. I was pretty against the Go at first in October, but once I saw one in person the size really makes a difference.

I never took the older models out with me much, unless I had an overnight bag (travel a lot for work) but the Go fits in my suit pocket, or trouser pocket easily. And NO UMDs ! That is such an advantage, especially when travellling as I always nearly forget them in hotel rooms!

Also, the Go seems to get a lot more play at home, dunno if thats cause its still my newest gadget though...
