What do youn mean my bluetooth modem number the dial up number is *99# put that in or contact orange and ask them for the settings for using your phone as a modem.
It may be diffrent for Orange but if ou phone them and ask for the settings they should be able to give you them that would be the easiest was I tried looking on google for you but couldnt find anything you could try that aswel as you may well have more time to search the web.

Well iv posted all that above which works with vodafone but
jcs1984 is on 3 network and I think he used same settings as I posted and he seems to have it working.
Copy settings as you see them exactly spaces included in the initalization command etc

yeah i'm on 3 to
dial up: *99#
user name: user
password: leave blank
initialization command: at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet"sony=5
DNS: automatic
proxy server: do not use
connection name: your phone's name
these are the settings i used and it worked

Yeh and if you cant get it working contact 3 and ask then post back here so other people can get the solution here.
Let us know if you get it up and running.
Orange customers can try
initalization command = at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internetvpn"
username= orange
password =multimedia
If you want the more heavily firewalled connection try using "orangeinternet" instead of "internetvpn"
