"Dial up number = *99#

(username and password mayvary for difrent netowrks i looked on vodafone forums for setings)

Then username = web

Initialization command = at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet" sony=5  (may also be diffrent for 3 again i found on forums)

Then just keep hitting right and leave everything as it is."

[ Edited ]

M well being on vodafone those settings should have worked

See i cant really help much as I have a tocca and dont have acess to phones lol

But try this

on your omnia go to start > programs > tools > internet sharing

Then there should be a bluetooth option I think make sure that is all gd

Okay I think the dial up number may be diffrent depending on handset so check your manuals!

Iv also got my psp as an authorised device on my phone.

Re: Bluetooth Modem

[ Edited ]

You should find something simialr to this from your phone provider

Examples:
GPRS: +CGDCONT=1,"IP","apn.provider.de"     (Swap " "apn.provider.de" "for what ever is the acess point for your network in link below )

 or

HSCSD: +CBST=81,0,1;+CHSN=4,0,0,0

Depending on what connection you want to use

For orange

Dial Number: *99#     or

*99***2#

User: user
Pass: pass
Initialization command:   +cgdcont=1,"ip","orangeinternet"

For vodafone

 Dial Number: *99#

or *99***2#   (where the 2 is you can try a 1,2 or 3) try 2 first though but try *99# before that

User: user

PASS: pass

Initialization command:   atcgdcont=1,"ip","internet" sony=5              (try it without sony=5 if it doesnt work)

http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html   Use this link GPRS settings on right hand side use what ever acess point = in last part of intialization command

Hopefully with all these bits of info you can peice it together and get your psp working with your phones internet but I urge anyone having problems phone their Netork and ask them for Their GPRS settings.

You may also be able to go to your phone settings and then network settings >conections > veiw each of the connections and you should see the diffrent settings.

Re: Bluetooth Modem

You could try sticking in the dns settings you will get from link above and

try adding at at the start of command and/or a spaceat the end then sony=5

\i dont understand how mine works cos there someone else on vodafone here that cant get theres would have though if my setings work they would work for other vodafone customers

Re: Bluetooth Modem

Im trying it with my SE C903 (on 3), but keep getting error code "80411981".

Tried the steps mentioned, but nothing. Tried the username as "user", and also blank.

I rang Three and asked them for the settings, but the guy on the other end did not get what I was asking for at all. But then, he didnt speak very good english, so......

Tried searching on the forums, nothing yet.
