Can I convert my UMD PSP games to digital?

Since I got my PS Vita, I've been wanting to play some of my PSP games on it. Mainly because of the better analogue sticks and bigger screen but most of my PSP games are on UMD and not a download.

 

Except for buying the games again from the PSN store, am I able to get a digital copy of the games I have?

There aren't any offers like this available.

Fortunately a lot of the games on the PSN store have received big price cuts and more are having their prices slashed as time goes on.

Yea its a bummer this, i have peace walker and 13 other PSP games on UMD and i'd love to give some of them a go on my vita but i aint buying them again.
