Re: Can't connect to internet

Thanks for the reply. I use the same security as you. I'm still not to happy using WEP as it's not as secure as WPA. I'll give it a go though!

Re: Can't connect to internet

i had this problem a few times installing wireless in ppls houses then testing them with my psp, all i did was turn off security input a new password then turn security back on works for me.

You usually get it when the pass is almost but not quite right like 0 and O looking similar, i know you have wireless on your comp and set that up but sometimes its easy to make a mistake. Christ i do it all the time!!!

Re: Can't connect to internet

I have the problem above (DNS error).

When I set up all the options then test the connection it all works, except at the bottom the diagnostics say "Internet Connection: Failed".

I assume it connects to the router but goes no further.

Re: Can't connect to internet

Did all that, I disabled WEP but that doesn't work. I even tried creating a DMZ for the PSP but that still didn't work. My PSP is also on the mac filter It's odd, about a week after the PSP was first released my friend came round and I set his up for my router. edit: Under my router settings it gives an IP for the primary and secondary DNS server so I tried adding those. I have a feeling it may be just my router as I can connect to the router but not the internet.

Re: Can't connect to internet

Turning off WEP made it work, is there an alternative.
