I had a similar problem with my FAT when all I got out of the psp when trying to use the wifi was an internal error. i beleive it is a hardware fault and there is nothing you can do to resolve it yourself, as you still have the warrantee I suggest you take it back and have it exchanged for another unit. Hope that answers your question

1 found this link on how to fix the error.
http://www.trap17.com/index.php/Psp-Error-Tut-Fix_
basically take out your memory card and any UMD in the drive. after doing this go to "settings" then into "System settings" and click restore settings. the psp may freeze up, but it is not broken, take out the battery pack and put it back in, the settings should be restored and all should work.
i dont know if it will work but its worth a try.
