Games to Play with Adhoc Party

Forgive me for a moment if I want to talk about games and the act of playing them.  But I feel there is a bit of a lack in community spirit when it comes to getting together and playing multiplayer games.

I'm thinking of an Adhoc Party get together.  Not for a regular fun night, just maybe a little one off or semi regular thing.  I'm just wondering what people will be interested in playing?  What games work alright on Adhoc Party?

I'm going to make a list of games I feel people may be interested in, feel free to add to the list or comment on how much you'd like to play these games with your fellow forumers!

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Phantasy Star Portable

Gran Turismo

Grand Theft Auto

  • Liberty City Stories
  • Vice City Stories
  • Chinatown Wars

Tekken 6 (for a mini Tournament)

Motorstorm Arctic Edge (for those experiencing the connection error)

Powerstone Collection

Soul Calibur Broken Destiny (as Tekken 6)

Not sure how well each of these work on AHP but it wouldn't hurt to experiment.

So... what do you want to play?

Re: Games to Play with Adhoc Party

That's ok, I'm sure a lot of people do have them too. LCS after all was the first mega seller in the west when the PSP came out.

Adhoc Party has the facility to open up 8 player rooms, LCS is 8 players isn't it?

Ah looks like you're right. Think it's the japanese version which allowed you to open 8 player rooms.

Metal Gear Mondays has switched over to Peace Walker in case you didn't know, Yaster.

At the moment we're using the Peace Walker demo off of the European Playstation Store and there's 1 Fun night being held each month up until the release of the full game on the 28th May. In fact the next fun night will be this Monday at 7:30pm in World J Lobby 50.

If you aren't excited about the game yet then perhaps you should check out the latest gameplay trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVFvhZzcyj8

I can also confirm that Peace Walker works flawlessly without any connection/software problems (excluding disconnects on the clients part obviously).
