Did you see my response about GoW though? From my understanding of the video it looks like the UMD version was 333 right? The video was posted before the release of that game.
Your point on Daxter is valid, however Daxter looks to be from 2006 when maybe the 222 limit was in place? This is completely unfounded but here we go: I would guess that all games since just before GoW are 333! Maybe the limit was lifted for the release of the Slim?
the CPU limit was lifted due to a more powerful 2000MAh battery being released. infact the only reason the CPU was limited due to the fact that running at 333 mhz would of killed the battery off too quickly. once the higher capacity pattery was released Sony lifted the CPU limit.

I haven't downloaded a PSP game from PSN yet. I'm still buying my PSP games in UMD, and I think it's a really cool format and I think the actually UMD discs look really cool. But it's more than likely all games or the majority will be released by Sony Playstation digitally via download in the near future.

The best games on PSN are those that aren't available on UMD

Would Joikuspot work on your phone? I think that can expose phones as wifi hotspots... I wouldn't want to download PSN games over my phone as it seems really slow.
If the games were sensibly priced on PSN I would totally buy all my games on there. When I say sensibly, lets say I would pay, hmm, £15 for FTB3, it only cost £18 on UMD.
I have a 16GB microSD in my PSP which I am trying to fill but it only has about 1GB on there and most are demos and stuff I would happily move aside for some decent full games.

I think Joikuspot can actually enable HostAP on your phone? I have definitely tried it against my laptop with my phone and it worked for internet connection sharing there. I am using a 5800. If I get chance to reinstall Joikuspot I will let you know if I can get it working on PSP. I canned it because as I say, 3G is not immense around here.

I tried to reinstall joikuspot to test this out but its saying "install failed" with no log so I gave up
I saw an FAQ using Joikuspot for a fedora and it looked from the icons like it was going to be ad hoc too which further made me give up. I guess the wlan "card" in the phones must not support HostAP usually.
