Although some of you appear to have solved this problem, I've also got a solution from our customer services team here;
"
1) Make sure to de-activate the PC via the store's Account feature. If the PC has never been activated for PC Playback, move to step 2
2) Uninstall Media Go
3) Uninstall Media Go Video Playback Engine
4) Uninstall PlayStation Store
5) Reinstall Media Go, try to access the store, and allow the Media Go Video Playback Engine to update."
If anyone tries this out, let me know how it goes!

I did this step-by-step but i still get the same error. I had even contacted CS earlier, and basically what they told me is that they have no idea and i should speak with Microsoft (although I have no idea what Microsoft could for this).
I've tried dozens of times but I still get this blasted 8004d006 error. ![]()

I just tried that as well. Removed all my media, podcasts and agames, unistalled and downloaded the 1.3 version, then updated it. Still not working....

Bump. It's weird how this is still the only on-topic result that pops up on google...

I've got Media Go installed on two PCs. My laptop at home and my PC at work. Works on my laptop no proble, fully up-to-date. If I do this on my PC at work, I get a pop-up saying there was an error with errorreportclient.exe. If I uninstall the video playback engine from the work PC then Media Go loads fine. Odd.

Deactivation probs here
Recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista didnt deactivate under Vista , Now media go will no longer let me download comics or anything for that matter.
Old pc vista - activated
Laptop - activated
Old pc upgraded to Windows 7 Will no longer activate.
I really dont want to have to downgrade from 7 to vista just to deactivate this PC again to have to upgrade to windows 7 to activate again , its silly.
so every time i need to use my Main PC i have to log onto the laptop deactivate and hope this old PC works ??
