Memory stick Pro Duo Problem?

I got a 4GB memory stick (San Disk), but it have become corrupted with file with 0kb and i can not remove it. i have done formatting it on the psp and pc. Then there is an error say read only, but no switch on the side. i have no luck so far. Can anyone help please.

is it magic gate?... also remember to only format it on the psp and then use it. since the psp uses its own file system....
