Hello there!

I bought this brand new PSP 3000 yesterday with a tekken 6 game, as soon i wanted to play the game, i got this message that i need to upgrade to version 6.1, click next to continue. I did. To my surprise! The PSP went dead, and would not switch on again. The battery was fully charged. When i try switching it on, it shows an orange light lighting uo for like 10 seconds and then switched off again and then nothing happens.

The console has bricked itself and the only way to get it fixed is to contact customer services (although there is places that will unbrick it but they will charge for it)

Bring it back and exchange, don't tell them anything, tell them it didn't work when you switched it on.

Definitely. If you've still got the receipt then just take it back saying it's faulty and not working properly
