Hi everyone
i used to own the original psp 1000 and i loved it especially playing the power stone collection and tekken Dark Resurrection. However after playing with it for about 20-30 minutes at a time i would notice that my left hand would become sore from using the thumbstick.
it annoyed me greatly as i loved the console, however it was becoming painful to use and the weight was also starting to annoy me so i sold it.
that was about 2 years ago and recently i was at a friends house playing the God of war Ghost of sparta demo on his PSP 1000. i loved the demo however by the end of the demo i noticed that once again my left hand was cramping up from using it.
I want to buy a new psp as a christmas present to myself. however i am of 2 minds at the moment. i went into GAME and asked to try out a PSP 3000 and a PSP Go out of curiousity. when he handed me the psp 3000 it was so light i thought that he had handed me a hallow display model. it was amazingly light and after using it for a bit, going through the menu i liked the feel of it.
the PSP GO felt slightly lighter and i was surprised by how comfortable it felt as well and i liked the location of the thumb stick.
what i want to know is has anyone else had cramps whilst playing the psp? and if so how have you fixed the problem?
its a toss up between the 3000 and the GO. i dont want to hear about the advantages and the disadvantages of the GO. i need to hear from users about what is more comfortable to use and why.
Thanks in advance

When I first started playing PSP, yes.... But only because I was use to using PS Controller but I always prefer the 1000/2000 series, the others are more fragile

well i got a psp3000 & i`ve started having cramps ,tbh i cant see me playing long sessions as its just too awkward to hold,at the moment,i`m pretty new to the psp(last week tbh)but i dont think i`m gonna find a better way of holding it,although its very light its the position the hand & fingers are in that causes the cramps as when i`m playing my hands tense up,causing painfull results,

thanks for all the responses.
have any of you used the psp go at all? if so could someone please tell me about what it feels like to play with as i didnt get the chance to play games on it. it looks comfortable but i want some feedback to find out more about it.
i also heard that people find that the edges of the GO cut into peoples hands. is there any truth to that or is it rubbish?
