Hope someone can help me here, I bought the PSP 3000 about 2 months ago and then got a 4gb memory card for it, put it in and it was working great until last night when playing Gran Turismo, saved the first few races then after that i keep getting told there is no memory card inserted

is the card fake?

i had one where it only read the card when i pushed it and held it in.

Don't think it's a fake....

It worked fine for about 7 weeks then all of a sudden it just stopped reading

Check to see if it has Magic Gate support [via the PSP's System settings]. If it doesnt, it's fake [sorry] but if it does, try to back up all your data [Music, savedata, games] onto a PC, which you can do via Media Go for PCs, and then using the PSP's system settings, Format the stick and try again.

Tried that and it is now saying there is no memory stick inserted but there most definately is!!!!

It said on the psp before all this that it was magicgate supported but now it doesnt even recognise theres a card in it so I cant even re-format it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
