£32 is kinda pricey, I can get a PS3 title for near that..... maybe a Nintendo DS might be the better hand held choice, at least it will give me something to use while the mrs occupies the TV and when I'm on the train without costing me an arm and a leg.

Ha ha. Don't let the anti-PSP people, on a PSP forum put you off ![]()
Decide on the games you want to play, and then decide on the PSP. I obviously have my preference, as do others, but ultimately that is what it comes down to. There are benefits to the Go, and benefits to the 3000.

Well, I would have to say the main 5 games I would like to have on the PSP would be:
1). Phantasy Star Portable
2). Metal Gear Solid
3). Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII
4). Resident Evil Portable
5). God of War
So I'm not sure where that would put me tbh....

yer a few of the big title games are 30 quid mostly the ea ones , but loads are a cracking deal,
the majority of games are £10-£20. psp 1k-3k owners love to blow things out of proportion and lead you to beleive that every game is nearly £30 lol, little big planet, ghostbusters and gran turismo were much cheaper on the store at launch. with the psp go i got gran turismo, assassins creed, syphon filter logans shadow, ratchet and clank, and resistance retribution for free, get those on umd and itll cost you!! exaples of my purchases:
very recent releases:
fifa 10: £30
tekken 6 £31
gta china town: £29.99
lbp: £21.99
ghostbusters £14.99
monster hunter freedom unite: £16.99
motorstorm arctic edge £19.99
soul caliber: £23.99
older games just purchased in last few months:
god of war: £14.99
gta vice city stories: £13.99
manhunt 2: £9.99
megadrive collection 11.99
wipeout pulse £14.99
killzone £14.99
super stardust portable: £6.29
everybodys golf 2: £14.99
rockband unplugged: £3.99
savage moon: £6.79
you get lost of special offers every couple of weeks aswell, for example for the next 2 weeks monsterhunter freedom unite is £16.99 (19.99 on shopto.net the same place the above poster mentioned.) Resistance retribution £19.99 on shopto.net but £16.99 on the psn store) Motorstorm arctic edge £19.99 on the psn store, £19.25 on shopto.net)
also apart from the others i mentioned at high prices (the most recent released ea games, tekken 6, and a very very few others) shopto.net is admittedly at most a 1-5 quid cheaper on most of the other games but id glady pay that few quid to get the game straight away and not have to wait and have lightning fast loading times (ie gta vice city initial load time on umd is 1 minute, on the digital download its 10 seconds!!) also digital downloads use less battery life and is noiseless when compared to umd.
one more thing, if you have more than one psp in your family household then you can legally use the game on up to 5 psps. I have 4 psp gos in my house atm so the cost of each game shared is drastically reduced, ie monster hunter freedon unite cos me £4.25 in reality as the cost was shared!! This was great for tekken 6 and fifa 10!!
you gotta weigh it up for yourself and see the pros and cons, do more research yourself, there are a lot of bashers on the go side and the 3000 side, as are the umd side and digital download side, good luck with your choice!

Bit of a bitch. According to wikipedia (which is not complete):
1) #1 is not currently available on PSN. #2 is available in Japan
2) Available on all stores.
3) Not currently available on PSN.
4) US and Japan.
5) EU and US, not Japan.
All would be available on UMD.
Not sure how many of those would be available on the DS ![]()

Well if I was to get the PSP-Go over the PSP 3000 where would I find the best deals, offers and bundles for it?

its pretty much £200 on its own everywhere, if you get one you can get a free game off the store once you register and receive the code, you get a choice of either: assassins creed, motorstorm or gran turismo. if you know someone with a old psp wiling to help out you can get a further 3 games out of a choice of about 17 decent games.
hmv had a special about 3 weeks ago and sold them for £150!! but im not sure if that deal wil come up again any time soon.

the only special edition psp 3000 or psp go i could see in the near future is a resident evil portable or a metal gear solid peace walker one, i cant think of many other big hitter games this year.
