PSP Go Account activation problems

Hi all, I am very fresh to this only buying my 'Go' today. I've set up my account as stated but when I go to my account I get this message.

 

 You have not completed setting up your PlayStation profile. To setup your Avatar and About Me information, please log in to PlayStation Network account management on your PS3

 

As stated I'm using a PSPGo, have I missed some thing. I only get the news page on my console when I go on the web.

Those elements are only required if you have a PS3 which is why it states to go to account management on your PS3.
