Media Go requirements
on 08-07-2009 05:25 PM
Hmm, I'm not really sold on the PSP Go! It seems like it takes too much away but doesn't really add enough to compensate.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I prefer my games to be physical, not bytes of data on an easily misplaced memory card, I want to be given a physical object for my money.
The design too, sure the sliding screen is nice, but it doesn't seem very practical, with the Anaolog stick right next to the D-pad I can see playing fastpaced games like Monster Hunter being kinda tricky, in fact the entire button layout doesn't seem all that ergonomic, half an hour with your hands in that position and it looks like your fingers would cramp up. Obviously I'd have to hold one myself to prove that, but from the images that's how it looks.
It seems as though they are trying to remove the PSP from the realms of gaming and bring it in as a media device, however there are other, cheaper, devices which serve this purpose much better.
Just my two cent.

you can put downloaded games onto your computer? that means you can upload full psp games onto download sites and people can then get games for free.

Games, games, games
With more and more games becoming available on PlayStation Store, the choices continue to grow for each and every kind of PlayStation player. Plus, with titles such as LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo, MotorStorm: Arctic Edge and Invizimals all arriving on PSPgo, there has never been a better time to game on the go.

Had a really close look at all the info about the new pspgo. Well what can you say if you want to throw all your games and umd's away then this is the one for you, can't see the point myself.
Only having 16g of harddrive isn't going to last long if like me you like to keep a lot of music with you whilst on the go, I know you can use your playstation 3 on remote play but how often when your abroad can you get a good internet connection.
The mediago has gone already, go on and after a few minutes it's gone off. Was looking forward to this as you were able to add audio books to your psp. If you can get mediago to stay on a while there is a lot of junk already for you to delete.
This could be a really good psp if they just took the time to think about what the gamer wants a stop rushing it out just because the dsi is out, (which is crap anyway).
Well that's what I think, what about the rest of you ?

woah, can we say bashing?
i don't get why people use a PSP for music. i have my ipod, and it works just fine for music.
and i know around here in florida, there are free wifi spots all over. coffee shops, resteraunts, bookstores, even hotels offer it. plus, if you carry around a laptop, and have that internet card phone companies have, you could use that too. (unless you can't download the game sonto your pc for the psp go)
and as for the memmory space, the media go is for managing the content on that memmory, isnt that right?
