I admit it probably is partly to do with SCEE being a bit lapse in releaseing PSone classics but unfortunately it is partly down to securing the publishing rights from the copyright owners EG: Electronics Arts, Capcom, Ubisoft to name a few.

Electronic Arts and Capcom have so far been the main companys to allow the rerelease of PSone games, but not all companys are getting involved.

Hopefully if rumors are correct Capcom are rereleasing "a whole slew" of PSone games (hoping for Resident Evil 1-3)

that doesn't make any sense....If the companies can sell on any of their products (even their old ones), surely that has to be a good thing.

Their old titles are just sitting around doing nothing, except for being bought at car boot sales and charity shops. for old psx and ps2 owners.

They've got a whole new generation to aim at now, and, to a certain degree, they have a captive audience with the psp store.

It's so easy to bung some money in the wallet and download a game on a whim, that this seems to me, to be a massive missed opportunity.

If they re-released them, even at a cut price on the psp store, I'm sure people would buy them.

Anything they make on them now is purely profit isn't it? - all the work on the games has already been done.

Tell me if I'm wrong?

Maybe I'm targetting the wrong people to complain to.

A wider collection of psp games (new and old) can't be a bad thing can it?

This is my last say on your response, as I don't want to go off idea of the thread, so you can say what you like after this (and you probably will).

Thought I was on to a subject of interest to most psp owners. obviously not the case.

First post for me, just to say I care. It is disappointing the lack of support for the PSP shown by Sony, and a boost in the PS1 catalogue would be an easy way of partially addressing this issue.

I do agree however that this topic will probably do nothing as Sony do not appear to listen to or care what others think or feel.
