Hi Sony.

I use the PSP as my music player . One real downside is the lack of scrobbling support for last.fm.

I would really like to see the official PSP music player support scroblling for last.fm. The unofficial homebrew -- lightmp3 --supports it, but I couldn't get this to work :eek: .

I am not 100% sure how the other music players know how many times the songs have been played, but the iPod and iTunes manage this ok. Last.fm have a WMP (Windows Media Player) plug-in too, so I suppose the PSP can work with this? I am a bit wary of PSP support in WMP , so perhaps a dedicated PC-based music player for the PSP is the answer?

I can't believe you actually have to flash the PSP to get such useful features, and it's not like it would be illegal if Sony actually supported it itself...

I DEMAND last.fm scrobbling, one of the main reasons I bought the PSP when I heard that this is possible with this console.

I'd hope that Sony would update their dedicated MP3 players for last.fm scrobbling before the PSP, I find it much more convenient carrying an MP3 player seperate to the PSP.

Something should be introducedto both the PSP and PS3, lastfm is a great application yet many people fail to see.

Yes I have been asking Sony and Last.fm for scrobbling support in PS3 and PSP for a while now. I fully support this request and hope Sony gets with the times since this is supposed to be the full on living room media center, lets link with last.fm already.

+1, but I'd like even more is just to be able to listen to lastfm on my psp...  It gets a song and a half in and then runs out of memory.  rubbish web browser.
