A DLNA client would rock out loud. Even my crappy phone can do it, so come on Sony.

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

Hi,

I have a region 3 psp (asia) and I really think Digital comics should be included in the next firmware update - we paid the same for our psp as everyone else but dont get the same features?

Thanks

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

after the announcement that the comics app will be abandoned, why not open it up for folks to publish their own homemade comics?

additionally with the expiry date of the psp getting closer and closer free up the restrictions on video playback.

and lastly in general lower prices across the board, try to get some people interested in the psp back catalog for when the vita comes out they are already invested

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

Trophy support for psp games.

These could be linked via the ps3 or media go.

Connect up to the ps3 via cable or upload game saves to media go on the pc.

ps3 or media go checks game saves.

(Surely trophies can be 'pinged' whenever a stage is completed or goal attained on the psp - and then sent to the game save file?)

trophies get 'pinged' on the server, updates trophies on the user profile to a separate psp trophy sub menu, which all tallies up on you main profile.

The psp has to be linked to the user profile, and downloaded games can only be played by that users linked psp, so this may only work with store games.

might be a way to eek another years worth of life out of a psp and boost psp store sales, before I trade it in for a psvita and completely forget about everything I just suggested.

Ho Hum.

Will never happen i don't think there will ever be another firmware update for the PSP especially after the release of the dumbed down E 1000 model and the PSVita's release.

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

There will be security patches for PSP but its at the end of its feature firmware updates.

Your next new Phone will be what you use to access youtube on via Html5 browser, Not PSP.

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

Honestly. I now think there will be no more updates. Sony have effectively said they won't be updating it by saying things like SEN won't be added to the details on the PSP firmware.

Unless there's a catastrophic security breach caused by PSP there's not gonna be any more :smileytongue:

Re: Suggestion for the next PSP firmware

take out all the so called  eatra "services" that are subscription based  ... let users decide... have a basic nice clean menu or at least the ability to remove the services users will not be needing that yous have installed
