Family Guy

Seeing the Little Britain topic (and how b******s it's gonna be) I thought "Hey, s**t head, ask if anyone's played Family Guy".

Has anyone played it? just bought OPS2, they gave it 3/10, stating that you should 'Forget it happened'.

Re: Family Guy

I saw that review and I am bitterly disappointed. I may lend it from the library just to see whatit's like but thats doubtful

Re: Family Guy

Looks crap tbh, and as you said Captain_Howdy, OPS2 only gave it 3/10, which suggests that it is absolutely rubbish.

Re: Family Guy

I have the game. It was a birthday present although being a huge Family Guy fan I would've purchased it anyway. It's not great, but I've played worse. The game jumps between the 3 playable characters and their various sections. Brian has the stealth genre, Peter's is the sidewards scrolling beat'em up and Stewie is a run and gun shoot'em up.
Brian's stealth sections are by far the worst in the game. There is a lot of luck required and even more restarting the section which does get very frustrating.
Peter's beat'em up is pretty irritating at times but it's bearable.
It's Stewie's levels that really keep me coming back for more, as just like the cartoon series, he's the best character in it.
They've got the humour from the series and all the principle voice actors provide their talents but the game could've been a whole lot better.

Re: Family Guy

don't worry! limpbizkit4eva will buy it and tell us! Ha Ha dude! you know me too well! Best laugh I've had in ages! Cheers! :smileyvery-happy:  Yep I owned it. Its crap. I worship Family Guy and the ingame jokes are funny. But the gameplay is a mess. It's just the fighting is random and button mashing hoping your ray gun or kicks connect etc You have to time your jumps but in this theres no skill involved, its just because the characters move around like they strafe most of the time you end up finding yourself restarting that part over and over etc. Like for example the second level, you have to jump onto patients and hospital beds avoiding getting electrocuted and it just doesn't work properly because Stewie Griffin can't jump all that well. The graphics are decent seeing as its a cartoon game, and they really do have quahog to a t in some levels but don't expect standards of say, XIII, where they use Cel shading really well. The stealth missions with Brian are pretty bad too as you dont have much to hide behind and as the level around you is cartoony you dont get much to use, you just find yourself running around like a headless chicken sometimes. Peter's levels are okay, but button mashing when surrounded by enemies usually does the trick. It's not god damn awful and is worth a rental if you are a hardcore Family Guy fan.But if not there's plenty more way better platform games than this. If you liked this style of game, then get the Sly Raccoon trilogy, it really does show Family Guy how to do it right.

Re: Family Guy

I don't know it people care enough for them to make a sequel.

I mean Family Guy is HUGE now that more people are taking notice of it, but I heard the game is one of the most preowned games this christmas.
