Hey All,

Curious about the hardest experience you have had on PS2; the game that was either flat out too hard, or simply had too many objectives to achieve and was never really finished.

I’ll start with a game I love, yet have never been able to finish.

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future.  One of my long term favourites, yet well and truly too hard for me to complete!

Medal of Honor: Frontline on the hardest difficulty, took like 2 hours to get past the machine gun turrets on the last level

Can't think of a particular game, however the mission in GTA: Liberty City Stories when you have to go into the hold of the freighter and get ambushed by guys with chainsaws, stands out in my mind. After a year and a half of trying I just gave up on it, threw my PS2 out the window and switched to PS3

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Loved this game but it challenged me to the limits.

I did find Prince of Persia hard, but I still finished it. I don't know if its just me, but there was only one game in my PS2 collection that I couldn't finish. Final Fantasy X. They said it was the hardest game they had in the shop. I thought it was pretty hard, but someone I knew said they beat it easily. Besides, I was 7 years old when I got it.

DMC3 (non special edition) or Forbidden siren (tho the latter might just be through lack of effort)

Sadly I never finished FFX either.

I played through to the end several times but could never beat the final boss. I would've had to continue grinding to be able to do it and I could never be bothered.

At least I finished FFXIII

Better than me there Lyth, i got stuck at the wedding on FFX.

On a completely different note, i could never figure out how to play Blitzball.

Haha, yeah I got a bit further than that

And I never could figure out Blitzball either! Somehow the first time I played it I won the tournament but I still don't know why or how.

I loved Blitzball! Somehow I was really good at it. I couldn't tell if I was at the final boss or not. I think it was. It was the part when the Sin thing broke out of the cage. I remeber that I got so close to beating it and had a bit of health left. Then that annoying thing unleashed like a super attack and I ended up dying.
