definetly get the slimline one cause its 50% lighter and much quieter. its also only 100£

You can’t actually buy the old chunky ones anymore, unless you get it second-hand from somewhere. My old fat one (RIP fatty) lasted me a good 3½ years before it finally stopped reading discs. My slimline one has been perfect. It’s much smaller, quieter and it’s got a built in network adapter so you don‘t need to buy one to play online. The only downside is you can’t stand it vertically (unless you buy a stand which you have to buy separately).

I have the slimline one, but mine is very loud nowdays, it starts getting hot everytime I play it (thus the fan goes crazy), but it still works great.....

I have had my FAT one for 5 years now and one of my mates had his slimline for one year and it broke so if i were you i would get the FAT one

I would like to know how do i play online, i have got an ethernet cable and i got the slimline pls2 and i also have a bt voyager 105 usb adsl modem. how do i set it up to play, can someone email me or post on forum thank you. my email add is zeeshan007@hotmail.co.uk

I've a FAT one, which doesn't get too hot, but makes noise (not to worry about that I say) and you can't play on-line unless you buy the ehternet adapter, which isn't for sale anymore Sony no longer makes them, you have to use e-bay to find one
