Re: PS2: original model or slim model?

You can’t actually buy the old chunky ones anymore, unless you get it second-hand from somewhere. My old fat one (RIP fatty) lasted me a good 3½ years before it finally stopped reading discs. My slimline one has been perfect. It’s much smaller, quieter and it’s got a built in network adapter so you don‘t need to buy one to play online. The only downside is you can’t stand it vertically (unless you buy a stand which you have to buy separately).

I have the slimline one, but mine is very loud nowdays, it starts getting hot everytime I play it (thus the fan goes crazy), but it still works great.....

Re: PS2: original model or slim model?

I've a FAT one, which doesn't get too hot, but makes noise (not to worry about that I say) and you can't play on-line unless you buy the ehternet adapter, which isn't for sale anymore  Sony no longer makes them, you have to use e-bay to find one :Shame: :Shame:
