Sony Wireless Headset work with PS2???

Will the new Sony Wireless Head due out in a few days be compatible with PS2? I can't find any info on that.

Very unlikely i think the PS2 can only manage 5.1 surround sound and also the PS3 will be getting a firmware update (or already had one?) to run these new headphones.
