THE RE-RELEASE OF PS2!!!

Last week, just browsing the site, a new snippet of news on the PS2 section. Its a Bravia TV / DVD comi thing that i dont think SONY has done before... But instead of a DVD player it contains a PS2!!!

Five years into ps3 and they release a third ps2. And i can only think of one reason for this to exist, because the, quite innovative idea, is something that i think theyve done twice before. This is the market research for some HUGE aspects of PS4, im sure of it!!! Just think, between ps2 and 3, the PSX thing was released, it has XMB, hard drive, internet, remote play... And was a ps2. How much of that went into ps3??? Most of it...

Then there was the PSP GO! PSP been the same idea since its beginning and needs replaced, so they try some new ideas, slider and download only, to see what the market might want from the Next Gen. And GO wasnt it, so we got NGP, which is more like the traditional PsP, with physical media and a bar shape...

So i think this KDL-22PX300 tv is a market toe-dipper for what to do for ps4. To answer one question that was massively rumoured a few years ago: Does the world want the next generation to be Built in to thier TV??? I think this proves that PS4 is coming, and quite a bit sooner than most of the world expected.

Or is it just me?

Re: THE RE-RELEASE OF PS2!!!

It's just you. There is no way they would put the PS4 into a TV, it would be too expensive and would force people into buying new TVs.

The PS2 TV is aimed at younger audiences as it provides a small HD ready TV that will fit well in a bedroom, and a console to keep the kids quiet.

A re-release of the PS2? No way... that would never fly...
