I've never used my usb port in my ps2 before and was wandering what it is used for?? Can you do anything with a psp and ps2 besides charging??

AND i was wondering if mod chips are legal and allowed to talk about them?.. IF not then forget about that Q.

Mod chips legal? Hell no.

The USB port can be used for Singstar / Rock Band mics. Also it can be used for a keyboard if you're using the linux dev kit, or a game that supports mouse and keyboard.

usb is also used for Time crisis for the Guncon 2

The USB ports ae also used for the Socom headsets and if you have a wireless controller, sometimes they use a USB dongle, they are used also for linux, with the mouse and keyboard.

There are heaps of peripherals that use it - Cheat carts, Buzzers, Singstar mics, Guitar Hero instruments, EyeToy, the rare or unreleased USB tool for Music 3000. It of course has been used for various other things which I am not permitted to talk about here.

The FireWire was used also by Music 3000 if you got one of their obscure extra devices.
