Its a hard to decide between Jak 2 and 3, I would probally say Jak 2 though.
I played a demo of We <3 Katamari and it was great, I've been meaning to pick it up for ages but I've not got round to it. I'll need to get it soon, it will only be about a fiver.

Here we go.
MGO Beta - It turned out to be almost everything that I'd hoped for and while there were still some issues unresolved from the first MGO (like the server quality) I know that once again it's going to be pretty much the only online game I'll dedicate myself to when it's out properly in about 2 weeks. It was actually pretty terrific to play because it ended up with all the veterans from the PS2 version just completely kicking **bleep** the whole time against all the newcomers who were used to the COD4 mentality. I wish I could type more about it but I've waited too long and already my memory of the beta's pretty hazy.
As for the other games I've been playing since I got my PS3 I think Resistance is pretty meh tbh. There's nothing realy wrong with it but it's distinctly average and I don't understand why people are so excited about the sequel (other than the obvious propaganda being put out by Sony). I haven't completed it yet and things could get better but in general I'm a bit dissapointed. I was hoping that the online mode (which alot of people love) would make up for it but I don't even like that (and it's not just because I'm terrible )
Grand Theft Auto IV is realy good and I know alot of people have been moaning that "it's just more of the same" but honestly what were they expecting? I'm still nowhere near finishing it as I'm just taking it slow and spending far too much time meeting up with the NPCs and taking them, to strip clubs, pubs and bowling alleys but thoroughly enjoying it and as usual the script and voice acting is top drawer. The banter on the Radio Stations and the ingame TV Channels are absolutely hilarious and the characters are some of the best yet to come from GTA. I haven't read much of the in game internet sites yet but again I'm expecting them to be expertly written pieces of witty social commentary and the game realy is everything I could have hoped for and that's without even mentioning how fun the online Mafiya work and Races are. 7 out of 10
I've gotta get around to playing Psychonauts and Uncharted sometime before MGS4 is released but it's realy a challenge to find the time between work and GTA atm. I guess the worst case scenario is that I don't play them and then I guess I'll always have some quality games hiding away for a rainy day when I am bored of everything else.
Oh, and I completed Yakuza so I'm realy looking forward to the sequels release now and then alsso Yakuza 3 despite it's historical setting but tbh I did get through most of the game just using a combo of Square, Square, Triangle on normal difficulty so hopefully they do make the games a bit more challenging but the story, script and game world were all smashing.
Been a long time since my last proper post in here so that's quite alot of stuff I've played and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is still sitting in it's cellophane wrapping. Haven't even thought about putting that on yet so there's another wee bonus for the future when I've nothing else to play
It's such a shame that all the regulars from this thread deserted and ran off to Thunderbolt because it realy doesnt have the same magic anymore but welcome to those of you who may be new and let's get back to doing 'mini-reviews' of games rather than just 'I've played X'
Don't let the topic die. It's such a great library of knowledge and opinions
