hi....i recently bought a second hand ps2 for my daughter with tekken 4 , i used to own a ps2 some time ago and switched it on the other night to check it worked. It loaded up fine, as did the tekken cd , but when i had chose my character and arena etc , the load up screen appeard as usual, but i was waiting for about 1-2 minutes for the fight to start. Now i know its been some time since i played a ps2 but i cant remember loading times being this long....The cd is quite scratched, could this be a problem ? do i need to clean the laser ? do i need to take it back for a refund ? any help would be much appreciated....cheers, elvis

If other games play fine, its the tekken 4 disk. Especially since you said its scratched up.
