Today I inserted a CD for The Orange Box game into my PS3 and after that the Eject-button wouldn't work. Now the CD is stuck and wont come out. What do I do?

have ju tried to take it out via the controller?
Triangle (while at the icon of the game) then eject disc
By the way does the game still work?

On the most CD/DVD-players there's an hole which you can stick a thin metalwire (for example an straightened paperclip) to eject the disc. Look on the side/front of the player if you can find a little hole (app. 1-2mm).

Otherwise call the Sony support. Good luck!!

To the best of my knowledge the PS3 have no such eject option.

But try to turn off the PS3, then press the eject button while it is in off mode.

If that doesn't help a reset might; turn off the PS3, and turn it back on by pressing and holding the power on button on the machine till it beeps three times, then try the eject.

The game doesn't respond on the PS3.

When you inserted the game, did it look/sound normal?

My PS3 has suffered the YLOD and my disk was stuck inside. But I found a method to eject the disc on Youtube.

Worked a treat, no diassembling the unit either.

Og en 4 år gammel tråd, så der er næppe nogen der kikker med, er det samme problem og hvilken PS3 har du?

hi to all who have this problem let me explain how i fixed it.

i had the yellow light of death blablablabla and took apart my ps3 then heated it up put new colling paste on and put it back together.

then it worked again but my game was still in the ps3 and the ps3 didnt show the game.

first i tried the above methode turning of the ps3 compleetly and holding eject button then turn back on this didnt work.

then i notice the cable undeneith the dvd-drive was lose it doenst fit properly so i unhoocked the dvd drive and hooked everthing back on really carefully. 

after this i did the above trick again (urning of the ps3 compleetly and holding eject button then turn back on) and the game came out.

i really hope this helps someone couse ive been punching my wall for 3 days now
