Completed COD4 online it was my first FPS and played quite a lot of MW2 until recently when I got Battlefield BC2.
Loved COD4 and think MW2 improved the guns (but not maps) to a new level in games, outstanding.
Since I started playing BC2 my copy of MW2 has been gathering dust. The guns arent in the same league as MW2 which I miss ... however this is made up for in several areas.
Destructible environments - there is nothing like blowing a sniper out of his hide-hole with an RPG or even finding new spots to take out the enemy in gaps in walls/roofs blown down ... each game has a different environment on the same map because of this.
Classes - great being a medic and reviving team mates even though I have never used the mic it is good to help others even in a game.
Soound - very realistic and different according to the circumstances, not out of a can like MW2.
Maps - more varied than MW2 and more vivid ... give me colour in a game it is a visual experience as well as enjoyable for the game play.
Fun - it just seems less serious playing BC2 but more fun with more variety.
Only drawback of BC2 which needs tweaking is the spawning in squad deathmatch which is virtually removing the skill of hunting down your enemy as you are often spawned directly facing them or directly in front of them as kill fodder ... big fault but sure they can tweak that.
So can MW3 add destructible environments and colour ... with a change at the top at Infinity Ward and perhaps not Infinity Ward to come there will be a change in direction for the better ... just keep the guns they are unbeatable on MW2.
