only mugs pay for map packs on consoles, free on pc so why any different on consoles, i have over 2000 maps for q3, over 1500 ut, 3000 counterstrike, 100's cod etc etc all free.

Why are they mugs? You can't make your own maps on PS3/Xbox whatever so if people want some new maps they have to pay for them.

but cod4 and cod5 map packs are free on pc, so whats the difference what platform there on ? they should be free on consoles also period.

i brought the map 3 pack yesturday and tried to get online with the zombies and there were 2000+ people online and it was waiting 3 minutes to try to find a match and there were no for me to join.

and why can't we do like mircosoft does use points instead of cash,

cant beleive more people are not annoyed about paying for the maps, also the fact that the pc version is like 25%/30% cheaper than the console versions just rubs salt into the wounds, and the pc version is superiour and free maps, and 100's of great custom maps and great mods, we should demand the same.

hmmm why cant xbox ps3 and pc all be the same? is pc just easier for game producers?

Yes. Using C++/Visual basic, it's more widespread in competent programmers. The 360 architecture is similar to that o' PC programming so these are always 'easier', I guess would be the word, to program for.

The PS3 gives programmers nightmares.

guys guys guys, heres the truth!

all od these messeges sayin keep passing this on are load o' crap, thar all just rumours

the truth is that the leader or whatever o' activision was very concerned about the ps3 prices and disc prices, and said that it is very difficult for us to code our games to blu-ray disc this is because they are very expensive, but for e.g xbox it is alot easier and cheaper because they use dvds. If sony can drop the prices a little and the disc prices it will be alot easier for us to code and sell the blu-ray discs .

And now ps3 has just released a new ps3 slim so the original one is now cheaper. and apparently they are dropping blu-ray discs prices as well. So it seems to be fine now, no thing exists as MW2 XBOX EXCLUSIVE.

also he DID NOT MENTION at all anything about ending contract, he just was tryin to say it would help top drop prices as it is a bit difficult.
