I've been looking at getting Fallout 3 for a while, and then when I heard that the GoTY version was coming out with all the DLC on decided to wait a bit.

But I saw the teaser trailer for New Vegas yesterday and thought it was just another add-on/expansion. But after looking around on the internet it seems that it's an entirely different game.

So I was wondering if I would be better off getting the GoTY version or waiting a bit longer for some sort of double pack affair.

doubt a double pack will happen with such a new game best of just getting the f3 goty edition vegas wont be out for ages now it's a awesome game playing it at the moment infact.

Get Fallout 3 GOTY now! Honestly it's a great game and I don't think you'll get a better price for it.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas use the same game engine but are made by different devs.

I don't think it's likely we will see a Fallout 3 + Fallout New Vegas bundle, as they are separate games, so you may as well buy Fallout 3 GOTY now. Although it's not impossible, I guess, we did get a GTA3 + Vice City bundle for the PS2 so anything can happen.
