Would it matter if I purchased number two before the first? And are these games worth getting? (I'm not at all familar with the current games market).

I've only recently got a ps3, are there any other games similar to these two (action adventure)? I was a huge fan of the tomb raider games on the ps1.

Also are there any plans for a new Tomb raider game any time soon?

Yoy can play Uncharted 2 before nr 1 without problems.

However i would strongly recomend nr 1 first, both games are very good and nr 1 can be bought very cheap these days. No reason to miss out on it, and its always nice to know who the diferent charecters in the game are before you start nr 2.

There is already a Tombraider game for this generation. Tombraider underworld. The game is not that good though. If you can find it cheap and are really a fan of this genre it may be worth a play through, but really its not nowhere the same league as the Uncharted games.

I'd play uncharted 1 first, you can get it pretty cheap now. It will mean none of the plot from the first game will be spoiled and you'll appreciate the characters more when you play the second game. The first one is still worth playing plus you get extra in game money for uncharted 2 if you've completed the first one.

Tomb Raider Underworld is a pile of arse, took me 5 hours to complete on impossible mode lol
