The newest Warhawk update not only brings with it a range of enhancements, but also some rather exciting features – did someone say Trophies?

Superlative online vehicular combat title, Warhawk, is ready to offer even more value to its loyal players by gifting them with the new v1.5 update, which includes a batch of extras for the game including integration of PlayStation Trophies.

With Trophies now earnable in the main game, Warhawk gives you the chance to show off your achievements to all. There are over 50 Trophies to unlock, based on performance, modes, weapons, vehicles and any expansion packs you own. Some also work retroactively, meaning if you've already earned the requirements for those particular trophies they'll be automatically added. Here's just a small sample of what you'll encounter:

Community Building Trophies
These trophies encourage supporting or participating in the community at large, including:
- Bandwidth Donor: Host a ranked dedicated server for four consecutive hours.
- Rivalry: Win a clan match (red server) as either clan leader or a regular member.

Game Mode Trophies
These trophies are based on specific game modes, such as:
- Lone Wolf: Play a perfect Deathmatch (first place, no deaths).
- Survivalist: Survive for one minute as the hero in Hero mode.

Vehicle Trophies
These trophies are awarded for exemplary performance with vehicles. These include:
- Taxi Driver: Help a teammate capture the flag (in Capture the Flag) or cores (in Collection) by transporting him back to the base, using any vehicle.
- One In A Million: Shoot down an enemy aircraft using the tank's main cannon.

Warhawk Weapons Trophies
These trophies are awarded for exemplary performance with Warhawk weapons, such as:
- How Did You Do That?: Destroy an enemy aircraft with a Cluster Bomb.
- Tail Shaker: Destroy an enemy aircraft with an Aerial Mine within five seconds of deploying it.

There are also Trophies specific to Omega Dawn and Broken Mirror booster packs, as well as a number of hidden Trophies across all the sub-categories, so there's plenty to keep you blasting away for a long time.

As well as PlayStation Trophies integration, this new update also supports custom music tracks from the Home Menu, 20 new aircraft paint schemes and 50 new insignias selected from the SCEE paint schemes and insignias contest, and a set of playable training tutorials to help new players learn and practice before going online to do battle.

them trophies sound kinda hard!! i bet the warhawk servers will be getting a battering once these come out, especially from people trying to get the 'bandwidth donor' trophy haha

I dont think I could host a game on my ISP I am on 8mbps and on the mid-range package I doubt I could host a game with at least 2-3 people experiencing LAG thats for sure.

They do seem rather hard like the kill a enemy in 5 secs of deploying a mine you would have to fly right behind someone and plant it and then it might explode I can't fly warhakws for toffee I stay on the ground mostly thou I have shot plenty of aircraft with the tank cannon. But Aug 27th I've just done 58% of uncharted trophies today I need to get 10 more treasures, kill 3 enemies with 1 explosion 5 times, and the normal/hard/crushing modes and I am done I only got the game this afternoon as well.

WarHawk, Bioshock Burnout Paradise I am just hoping Mercenaires 2 will get them and I'll be happy for a while.

HELL NO!

I only got the game 2 sundays ago and I can't fly WarHawks for toffee I get owned as soon I fly into the air for 5secs so I stay on the ground and provide troop support and artilliery with tanks and I am kinda of alright too I have more fun providing ground support I was trying to get into sniping but its hard. When you fire you leave a white line and if you miss or hit and are camping there and kill more than 3 they know where you are and they come and get you.

1 thing I don't like is when I play Team Death Match or Capture The Flag there's hardly any team support I could have 2 opposing team members shooting at me and the last 4 games my team has stood around doing nothing. I also think the machine gun on the 4x4 jeep or the mounted version outside bases is too strong especially against tanks it takes out armour within secs I'll understand if there armour piercing rounds.

Never really got into Warhawk but with trophies it will give me something to do until SOCOM: Confrontation is released
